Late 1800's to early 1900's glass lamp shade. Looks to be a Pairpoint. "Puffy" style with reverse hand painted roses.
LOOKS FANTASTIC WHEN LIT UP!! 9" tall and 14" at it's widest. This shade is meant to sit on a 12 lamp shade ring and doesnt use a finial.
The shade was formed then the flowers were hand painted on the inside. Then there was a white glaze placed which covers the hand painted inside. From the outside the flowers have a three dimensional look and frosted finish. FANTASTIC CONDITION WITH NO CRACKS, CHIPS, OR REPAIRS. The bottom of the shade doesnt even have the usual flea bites.
The shade is not signed. I don't believe that Pairpoint signed all of their lamp shades. Please use your best judgement. I PROTECT MY ITEMS VERY VERY WELL and everything is insured.
